CYFA would like to inform its members that in relation to Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) initiative to address challenges in the banking sector, the Association has joined the ad-hoc Working Committee established by the CBC. The ad-hoc Committee that comprises of CBC officials, key industry stakeholders and banking officials has been formed with the sole purpose to discuss issues faced with banking procedures and to identify possible improvements.
CYFA would like to thank CBC and the Governor for initiating the current procedure and is confident that with close collaboration and mutual understanding current challenges can be addressed. CYFA will keep all members updated of any further developments.
