Limassol – The Cyprus Fiduciary Association (CYFA) organised earlier this month a Christmas networking dinner for the top management of its member firms and associates.
The dinner was held at the Carob Mill in Limassol on Thursday, 9 December 2021.
Besides the heads of CyFA member companies, also present at the event were the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), the General Manager of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), the Chairwoman of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), representatives from the association’s sponsors, the Bank of Cyprus, eBOS and GlobalTraining, and other distinguished guests.
At the networking dinner and under strict Covid-19 guidelines and precautions, members and guests were offered an admittedly much-needed and long-overdue opportunity to mingle, socialise and catch up on matters related to the fiduciary industry. It was a rare opportunity for the stakeholders in the corporate services sector to gather under the same roof and discuss common interests, an opportunity that was revelled in and appreciated by all.
The President of CYFA, Chris Koutouroushis, welcomed his guests, gave a brief account of the year that passed and spoke with hope and optimism for the year that lies ahead.
CYFA was established in November 2011 by the initiative of leading firms in Cyprus providing fiduciary, management and administration services to companies and other vehicles engaged in international business activities or involved in international business structures.
CYFA is the only association in Cyprus dedicated to serving the interests of fiduciary services providers, supporting their operations and educating their staff.
