To the above subject matter please be informed of the latest announcement issued by the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property dated 17/01/2024 titled “Extension of submission to the Register of Beneficial Owners until March 31, 2024”. The announcement states that: “the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, with a view to updating the Register of Beneficial Owners on the basis of the upgraded digital platform, announces the extension of the submission of Beneficial Owners details, for all Companies and other legal entities, until March 31, 2024. After this date, non-compliant Companies and other legal entities will receive penalties according to the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law 188(I)2007, enacted by the House of Representatives on 23/2/2021.”

We would also like to inform you that as part of our continuous efforts to promote members’ interests, our Association representatives attended the Parliamentary meeting of the Committee on Energy, Trade, Industry, and Tourism held on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 where relevant issues were discussed.
