On Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021, the Cyprus Fiduciary Association held its 9th Annual General Meeting at The Landmark Hotel in Nicosia.
Addressing the AGM, the President of the Association, Mr. Chris Koutouroussis, thanked all the participants for attending and supporting the Association. The President referenced the huge changes and challenges that the international financial services industry is facing, and highlighted the Association’s commitment and continuous efforts in promoting, upgrading, and maintaining the competitiveness of Cyprus as an international business destination.
In turn, the General Manager of the Association, Mr. Christoforos Ioannou, welcomed all participants to the AGM and expressed his appreciation for their attendance. The General Manager outlined the primary goal of the Association and provided a summary of the main actions and activities of the Association during 2021. Furthermore, Mr Ioannou briefed the members about the actions taken to promote and protect the industry’s interests and the various collaborations developed with relevant stakeholders during the year. Lastly, the General Manager thanked CYFA’s sponsors, namely the Bank of Cyprus, Ebos Technologies, Global Training and Renaissance Insurance Brokers.
The AGM concluded with the voting deliberations and the unanimous approval of the audited financial statements of 2020 and the re-appointment of GAC Auditors Ltd to continue as (pro bono) auditors for 2021.
